Amazed

I am determined to get consistent posting to my blog. I am amazed to see these amazing blogs that are maintained/updated daily. I would be thrilled if I can get myself organized enough to post once a week. I have so many projects I would love to share and just need to get them onto my computer. My New Year's resolution is going to be to work on my organization and blog
So let's hear it for these incredible Blogger's and their commitment to share a good thing. Thank you for your inspiration and creativity.

Halloween is over but not forgotten

I know Halloween has passed but I am not ready to let it go. I made this card for a challenge on SCS and wanted to share... now that I had time to post. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and chalked to highlight. the Frankenstein stamp is from SU retired set Best Fiends (love it), and the quote from SU Smarty Pants. Paper is SU: black, orange and lavender.

Fun card I made in my last class. Real red as card base. Stamped image on white and used old olive as the "grass". Inks used were close to cocoa, brocade blue and wasabi. Stamped off technique was used to give color variation to the leaves. My favorite is the swing... linen thread tied to a Q-tip colored with brown and trim to size. Don't forget to color ends after you trim. It is free swinging and glued only at the knot.

This card just makes me smile. I love the raccoon. So many cards show up using the bear but very few with the raccoon. So here he is. Fire is made from torn pieces of close to cocoa and orange as the fire. I sponged for red to give the feel of flames. Sponged close to cocoa to create the ground. And used the trees form Loads of Love... also sponged to give more fullness.
And my favorite... the can double stamped and one cut out and lifted with dimensionals. Now if he only had marsh mellows to roast.

Invitations made for my daughter's First Communion. Simple. Elegant. Perfect.
Embossed with CB embossing folder. White as card base and Pink Pirouette as layers. She was very happy with the end results.
Made this card for a friend with a new baby boy. I really loved the blue and green together. I used Wasabi and Brilliant Blue. The buttons really bring the colors all together.

I made this for Easter and wanted it to be silly. I love Sock Monkey and Accessories. Came across the carrot stamp in my stash and it made the card for me. I used dimensionals to give it a lift. And of course the ears are just toooooo cute. Kraft is the card base with Pink Pirouette and SU DP for the layers. Stamped image on white and added a little sponging to soften the look.

I have decide to make and conscious effort to post regularly. I have sooo many beautiful project to share by have a hard time with time management to actually get them on the web. So be patient and check back and you will be pleased at what you see... I hope. LOL
