2010 To Do List

Just read Rockester's blog and have decided to follow her advice and create a 2010 "to do" list. You can view hers' on her blog http://myall2.blogspot.com/2010/01/january-project-goals-recap-and-roundup.html

I have so many things I want to complete in life as well as my office. So for the next week I am going to be creating a list of things I would really like to see "over" "done" in and around my life. I know that sounds drastic but I have so many unresolved/uncompleted things in my life. Now mind you as I create this list it is not in order of importance but as they pop up in my mind.

2010 TO DO LIST

  1. Do 2009 taxes
  2. Complete Disney album for Brittaney
  3. Go to at least 1 crop per month.
  4. Work on my SU business: book more demonstrations and put together a monthly club.
  5. Make a card organizer
  6. Premake all cards needed for the year ahead.
  7. Plan more play dates for the kids
  8. Get my classes done for girl and boy scouts.
  9. Work on living healthy
  10. Would love to take a cooking class
  11. Get my serger fixed
  12. Paint the kids room
  13. Take time every week to get projects done
  14. Move "mom" up on the list
  15. Save $ to go on a weekend crop
  16. Save $ to go to FL in October to see our friends (and Disney)
  17. Clean out paper stash
  18. Get rid of the stuff that isn't ours
  19. Have a MASSIVE yard sale
  20. PURGE PURGE PURGE

Ok I think that is a good start. I'm sure I could fill a notebook with a little time. I will keep you up to date as things move along. I hope I can check off faster than I can add.

A "different" Valentine card

Came across some really cute X and O silver confetti. First thing to pop into my head was a shaker card. I have been wanting to you my SU Sweet Treat cups and Sweet Centers set but didn't have any inspiration... till now.
Wanted the card to be less feminine and less PINK so I pulled out the chocolate chip paper and some suede printed paper from the Patterns Pack III. I used pretty in pink paper to stamp the image with pixie pink ink and cut out the image. Cut the heart using CM ccs template in suede. Put it all together and voila! Oh and added the adorable little puffy heart stickers. TOO CUTE!
Overall I like the card but don't love it.
Would love to hear opinions and suggestions. And please feel free to upload your own version of a valentine using these colors. Would love to see what you can come up with. Thanks for stopping by. Donielle

Card for Hudson's friend's birthday.

I decided to go through my SU card stock and find a color or two I have not used. I came across the lavender first and then the plum. OK now what do I do??!!!??!
After longer deliberation and deciding for a little girl ... why not a scallop edge. Therefore the new SU border punch was added to the pile. And while I was at it... added retired set Fairy Nice.
I am on a role. NOT!
Well after many back and fourths ... this is the end result.
I used lavender lace, perfect plum, green galore paper and colored with SU colored pencils and blended. Embossed the lavender with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I add the green and white ribbon and the crystal flowers (1 green and 2 purple).
Finally I was happy with the end result. And thankfully so was my DS.
