No school this week... what shall we do!!?!?!??!? Sorry to say we have only done one thing... we went to the zoo today.
The weather was incredible the animals amazing and the children were crazy. Against my best judgement they stayed up past bed time last night and I paid for it today. They get up at the same time no matter what time they go to bed. But even so I have to say it was a wonderful day. I even got to destress and make a card.
I like this card. Very simple but it makes me smile. I really wanted to try something with brown and pink, two colors I really just don't "do" together, and it worked. I think adding the celery has helped my opinion.
It took longer to find the two ribbons than it took to make the entire card. The joy of working out of rubbermaid totes instead of my beatiful well organized craft room that I left behind in Florida. (the only thing I miss about FL, hahahahaha).
Tomorrow is DH surgery on his eyes for the glaucoma. I am sooooo nervous. I hope all goes well and it really helps him. I hate to even think about what he is going through. I would give anything to trade places with him and give him my eyes.
Ok another day done and need to try to not think of tomorrow. The best cure is to cuddle with the hubby, yum.
